Dr. Melissa Amos

Dr. Amos discovered her passion for the art and science of dentistry and facial esthetics while working at her grandfather’s dental office as a teenager. While working at the office she completed her undergraduate education at Ramapo College of New Jersey. She then attended Temple University of Dentistry in Philadelphia and graduated with her dental degree in 2016. Dr. Amos became certified in injectables with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics in 2018. She is now an Accredited member and part-time Faculty with the AAFE. She teaches Botox, Dermal Filler, PDO Thread, and Master Esthetics courses on the weekends. At home she spends time with her husband, son – about to be two sons, and two rescue dogs.

At Dogwood Dental Spa, our team is committed to providing the level of care our patients are seeking. We offer dental services and treatments to address facial pain, TMJ pain, and facial volume loss.

The mission of our practice is to provide services driven by honesty and compassion for our patient’s individual needs. We are committed to having each patient and team member leave each day feeling a sense of accomplishment and involvement towards a positive outcome. We promise to provide the skills and expertise to achieve these goals in a fun and love-filled environment.

Dr. Amos is the best! She made my son’s dental visit a pleasant one. He suffers from anxiety so I was concerned that he wouldn’t sit in the chair to have his cavities filled. Dr Amos was very patient with him. She explained to him what she was going to do during the procedure. She was able to keep him calm and she allowed him to take breaks if he started to get nervous. By being a Dogwood Dental Spa patient, you will also be contributing to a good cause. We are committed to donating a portion of our profits to the South Charlotte Dog Rescue Organization. This is a non-profit, no-kill, volunteer dog rescue organization serving the South Charlotte, NC area.

*For each new patient who comes to the office we will be donating a bag of food to South Charlotte Dog Rescue.
